Esther 9:20–21 (ESV) - And Mordecai recorded these things and sent letters to all the Jews who were in all the provinces of King Ahasuerus, both near and far, obliging them to keep the fourteenth day of the month Adar and also the fifteenth day of the same, year by year,
Esther 1:19 (ESV) - ...that Vashti is never again to come before King Ahasuerus. And let the king give her royal position to another who is better than she.
Esther 2:17 (ESV) - ... the king loved Esther more than all the women, and she won grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins, so that he set the royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.
Esther 3:5 (ESV) - And when Haman saw that Mordecai did not bow down or pay homage to him, Haman was filled with fury.
Esther 4:14 (ESV) - For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
Esther 5:13 (ESV) - Yet all this is worth nothing to me, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king’s gate.”
Esther 6:12 (ESV) - Then Mordecai returned to the king’s gate. But Haman hurried to his house, mourning and with his head covered.
Esther 7:10 (ESV) - So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the wrath of the king abated.
Esther 8:16 (ESV) - The Jews had light and gladness and joy and honor.
